i went to hotel equatorial today for buffet lunch @ kampachi japanese restaurant. the lunch started at 12pm noon. i forced myself to wake up around 11am because, i slept at 3am the last night, was hanging out with my friends @ kota damansara, did shopping, yumcha and watching football match! i am not a big fan of footballs but, i really think the worldcup helps to gather all of us together, we chat, laugh and shouting GOAL ! and yes, i supported Germany against Argentina last night. incredible 4 goals !
ok. so i washed up and headed to KL immediately. we actually arrived earlier than expected despite the rain, not bad.
looks familiar? they actually have one in Pavilion sixth floor, but not buffet served, it's all ala-carte there. i rmb checking the price @ pavilion and it's expensive ! cannot afford =(
another big eater next to me. she can really eats a lot and yet, so skinny! can fight with the guys.
summary on what i've tried there. the first thing i took was sashimi and sushi. it was quite a dissapointing experience to me because, i shouldnt eat something raw when my stomach is empty, my stomach cannot take it. so i lost my appetite afterthat. i really feel like throwing out. but i cant. it is sashimi ! i love salmon sashimi the most one! but, i just cant take it this time. screw myself. and i tried another sashimi, i duno what is it but i tried it. gosh. i felt extra vomitting with that. so now i know, i can only take salmon sashimi after all. haha. should have eaten the sushi first instead of sashimi.
so i lost my appetite. what a waste man! it was just a beginning mei kee! aiks..
the next thing i did was getting some salad with thousand island dressing, totally feel like eating vegetables. since then, i dowana move around. i didnt treat it as a buffet though. the friends were taking it to the table and i just eat whatever it was on the table. poor me.
the next thing was chicken and beef sukiyaki, grilled salmon and butter fish. not bad! it was just my bad appetite that ruined my day. and then, the cawamushi (steamed egg), with prawn in it!
hrmm.what else. i m trying to recall back.
oh yah! tempura! we took like around 3 pcs for each of us? ppl standing behind the queue must feel angry. haha. and then the grilled prawn, no extra sauce added, just added some salt and grilled. original eh.
then we had the grilled eel (unagi) and grilled cod fish. yum~! my friend tried the grilled fish head. ok i realised we ate a lot of fish-based food. another thing was the soup, few kinds of soup... miso soup, vege soup with fish toufu mushroom and etc. i tried at least 4 soups. i dont know how to name them. cos i was not the one taking the food. hahahaha..
then we had oyster. cooked one. it was good unless u dont like oyster.
we ate the cold noodles, soba and green tea cold noodles with some seaweed in it.
this is my first time trying the green pea. u know the green colour bean? i saw it when i dine in sakae or zanmai. have no idea on how to eat that green colour thingy.
they served banana smoothie, fruits and ice cream. plenty of fruits to choose, pineapple, dragon fruit, papaya, grape, watermelon, wintermelon, great~! 5 types of ice cream if i m not mistaken, green tea, black sesame, vanilla...
they served the japanese pancakes too! u know the doraemon's favourite snacks? the "dao sa beng".
i felt really full after eating the pancakes with peanut butter paste in it. the men ate like, 5-8 pcs~! what they ate was totally paid off. the price is RM 85 for each adult. exclusive taxes. i have over paid lor..so, eat all you can!
the custom-made pancake, mickey mouse inspired ~! it is actually for children upon request. haha!
the end ~
